We know that quality Afterschool and Summer Learning programs are key elements in youth success. We also know that it doesn’t matter how great your facility, equipment or curriculum is – if you don’t invest in your staff professional development, your program will never reach it’s full potential.

OAN believes in ESSA aligned professional development – PD that is intensive, collaborative, job focused, data driven and job embedded. We believe that “sit and get” and “box checking” for compliance is not best practice. The PD we support (and deliver!) should be designed to change policy, practice and procedure in your program.
