Sara Dixon has 26 years of experience working in high poverty communities as a public school teacher at the People’s University of China (Beijing) and Roosevelt High School (Dallas, TX), a volunteer with non-profit organizations, and as the director of the Perrin Promise 21st Century Community Learning Center at Perrin Woods Elementary in Springfield, Ohio.
Her passion is to equip individuals and communities with tools to effectively support and empower students and families who are in need.
Sara is currently working as an independent contractor working as a consultant and evaluator for several afterschool programs in Ohio with McWatters Consulting, LLC.
Sara Dixon earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education (Language and Literature) from Cedarville University. She also holds a teaching license in Secondary Education and a teaching certificate in English as a Second Language (TESOL).
