Goldean Gibbs has over 40 years’ experience in various tiers of education i.e. Early Childhood, Secondary and Post-Secondary. She retired from The Ohio State University where she served as the Associate Director of Financial Aid providing leadership and oversight in the areas of Federal Student Work Study Program, Policy Analysis, Training and Development, Communications and Compliance. Prior to her retirement from Ohio State University she was Director of several successful for profit Post-Secondary institutions managing admissions, instruction, career placement and accreditation.
Goldean has extensive experience in governmental relations and public policy having served as Executive Director of Ohio Board of Career Colleges and Schools. Additionally, she held a six year appointment as Public Commissioner for The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training.
Goldean has a deep affinity for education, she is a grant reviewer for various State and Federal entities and presently is an independent contractor working as a consultant and evaluator for several afterschool programs in Ohio with McWatters Consulting, LLC.
Goldean earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Communications from Bowling Green State University.
